Job Description:

Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services / HVAC

Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a manufacturer of packaged plant rooms. We require an experienced building services electrical design engineer from an Electrical Contractor, Building Services Consultancy or similar packaged plant manufacturer.

We invite applications from electrical engineers with suitable supervisory or leadership experience; Senior Design Engineer (ready for step up), Lead Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Manager.

Package

Salary £60K - £70K, 25 days holiday, pension

We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with electrical design experience in building services.

The Role

• Lead design engineer for small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support
• Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects
• Equipment selections and design calculations
• Attend meetings with customers
• Assist with project planning
• Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance
• Specification of compliant parts and practices

You

• An experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, Lead Electrical Design Engineer
• Likely to have worked in an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy or packaged plant/skid manufactuer
• Previous experience in senior / leadership role, ready for step up
• 18th Edition qualified
• Electrical Design skills are essential
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD experience/qualification
• Amtech design calculation software experience is preferable
• Driving licence
