Senior Estimation & Bidding Engineer Architectural Composites / Façade Systems

We are recruiting for a highly specialised Senior Estimation & Bidding Engineer role within a globally recognised advanced composites manufacturer delivering complex architectural and façade projects internationally.

This is NOT a standard estimator or quantity surveying position.

This opportunity would suit a highly analytical and technically minded individual who enjoys solving complex engineering and construction challenges, working with precision, and operating within technically demanding environments.

The successful candidate will work across large-scale architectural composite and façade projects involving manufacturing, installation, substructures, cladding systems, and engineered construction solutions.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing large and complex tender packages
• Extracting relevant project scope from drawings, BIM models, specifications, and technical documentation
• Performing detailed quantity take-offs
• Developing highly accurate technical-commercial estimates
• Identifying project risks, omissions, clashes, and technical issues
• Building detailed Excel-based costing structures
• Coordinating with engineering, sourcing, production, and installation teams
• Supporting profitable project delivery through accurate bid preparation

Projects may include:

• Architectural façades
• Composite cladding systems
• FRP structures
• Pultruded systems
• Structural support frames
• Building envelope systems
• Custom moulded architectural components

• Structural attachment systems
• Technical estimating
• Complex engineered products

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Industrial, Architectural Engineering or similar
• 3–5+ years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong commercial and technical reasoning ability
• Fluent English
