Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets (near Bow Road Station)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £95-£115 per day
Year Group: Year 4
Support Type: One-to-one SEN support

A well-organised Tower Hamlets primary school is seeking a proactive Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 4 pupil who requires additional support to remain engaged with learning. The pupil responds well to structure, encouragement, and consistent adult support.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the pupil during lessons, help regulate behaviour, and deliver short interventions focused on literacy and confidence-building. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo.

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

• Has experience supporting SEN pupils in KS2

• Is calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviour

• Can follow support plans and adapt strategies

• Communicates clearly with staff and parents

• Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)

• Clear SEN structures and strong leadership

• Training and guidance from an experienced SENCo

• A positive, inclusive mainstream setting
