Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
South Lewisham

We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in South Lewisham who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.

This role is ideal for a caring and reliable LSA who is passionate about supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and development, and who can work effectively as part of a wider school team.

The role:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils

• Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND

• Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery

• Supporting behaviour management and engagement

• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours

• Working closely with teachers and support staff

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience working as a Learning Support Assistant

• Is patient, proactive and adaptable

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is committed to safeguarding and inclusion

• Works well as part of a team
