Line Leader - Reading

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Line Leader to join a busy manufacturing team in Reading on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about driving quality, efficiency, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Line Leader

• Lead and supervise a team of production operatives to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
• Monitor workflow and production schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Ensure all products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.

Requirements of the Line Leader

• Previous experience in a Production Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
