Logistics Admin Assistant

Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39.5 hours per week
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Admin Assistant to join a busy and friendly sales and logistics team based in Mildenhall.

This role would suit someone looking to begin their career within administration and logistics. Previous office experience is not essential, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and a good approach to customer service.

Full training will be provided for the right person, including support with company systems and processes.

The Role

You will work closely with the sales, customer service and transport teams, helping to ensure customer orders are processed smoothly and deliveries are communicated accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and updating customer orders
• Responding to customer queries via telephone and email
• Supporting delivery scheduling and booking processes
• Providing customers with updates regarding orders and deliveries
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
• Carrying out general administration and data entry tasks
• Supporting the wider office and logistics team when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and keen to learn.

You will ideally have:

• Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• A reliable and hardworking approach
• The ability to learn new systems and processes
• A willingness to support the wider team
• Basic computer skills

Previous administration, customer service or office experience would be helpful but is not essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

(30-minute unpaid lunch break)
