Job Description:

Logistics Operator / FLT Driver Location: Cramlington, NE23 
Pay: £18.59 per hour (including holiday pay)
Contract: 6 months, PAYE
Start date: ASAP

Summary
Join a leading industrial operation in Cramlington as a Logistics Operator / FLT Driver. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, organised logistics environment. If you have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and are ready to start immediately, we’d love to hear from you!

Working Hours

• 12-hour rotating shifts:
  • 2 days (06:45 – 19:45)
  • 2 nights (18:45 – 07:00)
  • Then 6 days off – plenty of downtime!

Pay Breakdown

• Working Rate: £16.16/hour
• Holiday Pay: £2.43/hour
• Total: £18.59/hour

What you’ll do

• Operate forklifts, attachments, wrapping machines, and other handling equipment
• Load/unload vehicles and manage stock using SAP
• Keep warehouse, drum parks, and storage areas clean and safe
• Label incoming goods and organise materials both physically and electronically
• Prepare drums for inspection and packing
• Complete scheduled checks and SAP transaction tasks

What we’re looking for
✅ Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
✅ Previous warehouse or logistics experience
✅ Able to work a 12-hour day/night shift rotation

Desirable skills

• SAP knowledge
• Understanding of safe waste handling
