Front of House Security Officer – Luxury Retail

Location: Central London

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Full Time – Days & Nights Available (Including Weekends)

Role Summary

Assist Security Group is seeking an exceptional Front of House Security Officer to join a prestigious luxury retail client in Central London.

This is a premium customer-facing role where you will be responsible for delivering a first-class security service while providing an outstanding welcome to clients, visitors and staff. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in protecting the client's people, property and reputation, whilst ensuring every interaction reflects the luxury standards of the brand.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Front of House Security role, ideally within a luxury retail, luxury hospitality or premium corporate environment. You must possess excellent communication skills, immaculate presentation and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional, welcoming and engaging Front of House experience for all visitors and customers.
• Maintain the highest standards of appearance, professionalism and conduct at all times.
• Ensure the safety and security of people, property and assets.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems in accordance with site procedures and legislation.
• Control access to the premises, verifying visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Conduct regular internal and external security patrols.
• Identify, deter and respond appropriately to suspicious activity, incidents and security risks.
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, alarms and incidents.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
• Liaise professionally with the client, emergency services and internal management.
• Follow all Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and client procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain operational knowledge and service standards.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence.

Previous experience as a Front of House Security Officer.

Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English.

Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.

Immaculate personal presentation and professional appearance.

Strong observation skills and attention to detail.

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Reliable, punctual and flexible to work both day and night shifts.

Competent in writing clear and accurate incident reports

Desirable

Previous experience within luxury retail, luxury hospitality or a premium corporate environment.

First Aid qualification.

Experience using access control and visitor management systems.
