A highly respected manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role:
You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime and keeping production running efficiently across a busy manufacturing site. Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you’ll be involved in fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities across a range of high-speed production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Breakdown response and rapid diagnosis
• Working on motors, drives, PLCs, pumps and pneumatic systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Supporting machine reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Liaising with operators, contractors and internal departments
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For:

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent)
• Experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving production environment
• Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Desirable Experience:

• Printing, packaging or carton manufacturing machinery
• Heidelberg or Manroland presses
• Bobst cut & crease or folder gluer equipment
