A highly respected manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role:
You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime and keeping production running efficiently across a busy manufacturing site. Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you’ll be involved in fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities across a range of high-speed production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Breakdown response and rapid diagnosis
- Working on motors, drives, PLCs, pumps and pneumatic systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Supporting machine reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaising with operators, contractors and internal departments
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
- Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent)
- Experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving production environment
- Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Desirable Experience:
- Printing, packaging or carton manufacturing machinery
- Heidelberg or Manroland presses
- Bobst cut & crease or folder gluer equipment
