Role: Maintenance Engineer – Nights

Location: Market Deeping

Salary: £53,000

Shift: Sunday to Thursday | 10pm – 6am

Our client is growing fast and has recently opened a new facility in Market Deeping. They’re now looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to become a key part of the night shift operation.

You won’t just be firefighting breakdowns here. You’ll be trusted to improve machinery, prevent failures before they happen, and genuinely make an impact on how the site performs.

What You’ll Be Doing – Maintenance Engineer

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime
• Working independently on nights to keep production running smoothly
• Stripping, repairing, and rebuilding machinery when required
• Supporting machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Working closely with production to stop recurring issues for good
• Helping maintain stock levels of critical spares and engineering materials

What They’re Looking For – Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
• Strong fault-finding skills across production/manufacturing equipment
• Confident working on motors, drives, sensors, control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions on shift
• NVQ Level 3 qualified or fully time-served
• Someone proactive who takes pride in keeping machinery running properly
