Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 per annum

Permanent

Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:30

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical expertise and solid electrical capability to join a successful, global manufacturing business. This is a key role within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of all site machinery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all plant and equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Improving machine reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Managing engineering spare parts, stock levels, and critical components.
• Sourcing and procuring parts, consumables, and external engineering services.

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong mechanical maintenance background with electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience within a manufacturing or continuous production environment.
• Organised, proactive, and confident communicating across teams as well as with senior management.
