A leading global manufacturer within the engineering sector is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing manufacturing operation in Daventry.

Working within a specialist machining environment, you'll become part of a dedicated breakdowns team responsible for maintaining a large range of CNC machine tools and production equipment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Reactive breakdown maintenance across a wide range of plant machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machine tools
• Mechanical maintenance including:
  • Bearings
  • Ballscrews
  • Leadscrews
  • Spindle checks and measurements
• Electrical fault finding and repair
• PLC fault finding on Siemens systems
• Fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability initiatives
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime

You'll work on a variety of modern and legacy CNC machinery including:

Operating with a range of CNC control systems and machinery from leading manufacturers.

What We're Looking For

Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Maintenance Engineering or similar)

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering

Manufacturing or production environment experience

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Experience working on industrial plant machinery
