Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)

Our Client are a FMCG manufacturing company. Following a decade of ongoing investment and development they are looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer (80% Mechanical & 20 %Electrical) to join their team to perform ongoing maintenance planning in the production plant.

Hours

0500 – 1700/1700 – 0500, alternating 3 on/3 off

Salary

• £56,500 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
• Overtime 1.5x rate (27.96 Days & £31.69 Nights) Sunday & BH 2.0x rate (£37.28 Days & £41.01 Nights)
• Realistic on target earnings including overtime +- £60 000-£70 000 p/annum
• Further development opportunities with higher salary once at the Specialist level

Duties

• Planned preventative maintenance on machines
• Reactionary maintenance on machines
• Working with food production and packing machines
• Daily reports to management
• Daily handovers with other Engineers
• Working within a team to maintain line efficiency

Experience

• General manufacturing experience required
• Experience in FMCG environments preferred
• Experience in Food manufacturing preferred
• Conveyer belt and Injection plastics environments highly advantageous
• High work ethic required
