Maintenance Supervisor | St Paul’s | £55,000 | Single Man Site | Monday-Friday

Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a highly regarded M&E service provider to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor for a prestigious commercial building in St Paul’s.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Lead Engineer looking for a role with greater autonomy. You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a single man site, acting as the client’s main point of contact while ensuring the building is maintained to the highest standard.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the building, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while building a strong relationship with the client and coordinating specialist subcontractors when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
• Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding
• Manage specialist subcontractors on site
• Act as the main point of contact for the client
• Issue and control Permit to Work documentation
• Ensure statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained
• Complete site reports and maintenance logbooks
• Monitor building services plant and arrange remedial works
• Maintain high standards of service delivery across the site

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Site Supervisor
• Strong commercial building services maintenance experience
• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Apprentice trained preferred
• Good understanding of HVAC and electrical building services plant
• Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
• Strong organisational and communication skills
