Job Description:
CCS are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEN school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and meaningful for learners who require a structured and supportive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
- Create a structured, calm, and supportive classroom environment
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and progress
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
- Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams to deliver tailored provision
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, planning meetings, and wider school processes
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
- Experience working within SEN, autism, or complex needs settings (desirable)
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
