Salary: £39,900
Shift: Double Days – 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
Alternative Shift: 3-shift pattern available with 7.5% shift allowance – £42,892

Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer

The company manufactures a range of sauces and condiments for major retailers, restaurants and catering businesses. With significant investment into new PLC systems and continued growth in demand, this is a great place to work for any Maintenance Engineer looking to develop their career both technically and into management.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown fault-finding on a range of production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and efficiency. You will also have responsibility for facilities and general site maintenance, making this a varied and autonomous engineering position.

You will initially be buddied up with the day-shift team for two months, giving you the opportunity to learn the site, machinery and processes before taking ownership of your area.

Sector – Manufacturing 

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Recognised engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience.

• Refrigeration experience.

• Experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley PLC systems.

• Apprenticeship or ONC qualification.

• Experience working with facilities maintenance.
