Mechanical Contracts Manager

Salary: £60,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

The Role

We are working with a well-established engineering business delivering mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across a range of industrial and commercial environments. My client is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to installation, completion and handover. The role offers genuine responsibility, with 3 Project Managers reporting into the position, and potential long-term progression to Mechanical Director for the right candidate.  The position provides a varied balance between project management, commercial responsibility, customer management and site delivery.

Working Hours & Travel

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm
• Approximately 50% office-based / 50% site-based.
• Travel required depending on project locations and customer requirements.
• Overnight stays are very rare.
• Additional hours may occasionally be required depending on project requirements.
