Our client, a leading engineering business, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality design solutions within challenging timescales.

Key Requirements for the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Proven and strong experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design.
• Background in Aerospace, Automation, Agricultural Engineering, or a similar industry.
• Mechanical/Design/Engineering degree/qualifications or similar.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet project deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and within a team.

The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
• Support product development from concept through to manufacture.
