This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to become part of a highly skilled engineering team, working on specialist mechanical equipment while benefiting from ongoing training, overtime opportunities and an excellent benefits package.

This company is renowned for its engineering excellence and quality standards, operating to ISO9001 and RISAS accreditation. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit multiple Mechanical Fitters to strengthen their workshop team.

Your Role as a Mechanical Fitter Will Include:

• Mechanical fitting, assembly, overhaul and refurbishment of specialist equipment

• Stripping, surveying, inspecting and testing mechanical components

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Carrying out mechanical repairs within a workshop environment

• Completing technical documentation and inspection reports

• Working to high quality and health & safety standards

The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Need:

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Assembly Fitter or similar

• Workshop-based mechanical fitting or overhaul experience

• Experience working on rotating equipment is advantageous

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Mechanical engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred

• Commutable to Croydon
