Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off DAYS only)

£42,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Training & Development + Engineering Grading Structure + Progression + 4 on 4 off (Days)

Commutable from: Lincoln, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Scunthorpe, Brigg, Hemswell, Retford, Doncaster, Worksop, and surrounding areas

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background, looking for a role where you can develop your skillset, be recognised through a clear grading structure and progress long-term within a stable site?

On offer is a permanent days-based position within a large, well-established manufacturer supplying major FMCG brands, where you will receive ongoing on-site training and development and have clear routes to increased responsibility.

You will be part of a mixed-skilled preventative maintenance team delivering site-wide PPM schedules, supporting production by responding to breakdowns when required, and contributing continuous improvement ideas to minimise downtime, while maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.

This role would suit a maintenance engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing environment, who wants long-term development, a structured engineering team and progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support across manufacturing operations
• Mechanical maintenance, with involvement on electrical systems where required
• Accurate work completion records / shift reports, housekeeping and strong H&S standards
• Support improvement ideas and maintenance programmes to reduce downtime
• 4 on 4 off, days only (6am - 6pm)

The Person:

• Maintenance engineer with a strong mechanical background (manufacturing / industrial)
• Experience with breakdown repairs, PPM routines and fault finding in a fast-paced environment
