Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Corby, Northamptonshire

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm

£40,000 - £42,000

A well-established manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team at its Corby facility. This is a days-based role offering long term stability, overtime opportunities and the chance to work within a fast-paced production environment.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and supporting continuous improvement activities across a range of manufacturing and production equipment.

You will be working closely with production and operations teams to minimise downtime, improve machine reliability and support overall site performance.

The Role

• Planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing machinery
• Reactive mechanical breakdown support
• Fault finding, repair work and continuous improvement activities
• Supporting production performance and machine reliability
• Working safely and in line with site procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship
• Strong mechanical maintenance background within manufacturing
• Experience working within a fast-paced production environment
• Confident fault finding and carrying out mechanical repairs independently
