The Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services across a modern commercial environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience working on Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and a solid understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Week 1: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Week 2: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Alternating weekly rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
- Servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
- Working on pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, HVAC systems, and associated mechanical plant.
- Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety requirements are met.
- Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within commercial building services.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FCUs is essential.
- Experience working on HVAC systems, AHUs, pumps, motors, and associated mechanical plant.
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- £150 per week call-out allowance (1 in 3 rota)
