Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Doncaster
£35,000 10% Shift Premium
£6,000-£7,000 in Bonus
Rotating Days and Nights (No Weekends)

I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established Maintenance Team with a Manufacturer in Doncaster.

This is a family run manufacturer and a market leader in their sector, working on a rotating shift pattern including days and nights with no weekends.

The Role:

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns
• Carry out PPMs
• Contribute to Maintenance Schedules
• Optimising production and machine efficiency
• Work on the following equipment:
  • Bearings, Bushes, Shafts
  • Clutches
  • Pneumatics, Hydraulics
  • Gears, Motors
  • Belts, Pulleys, 
  • Chains, Sprockets 
  • Pumps, Compressors, Dryers, Blowers
  • Basic Fabrication

About you:

The ideal candidate should have a relevant Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
Extrusion Experience would be ideal but not required
Experience working in industrial maintenance
Basic Electrical Knowledge desired but not a requirement
