Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

£45,000 - £50,000 + Regular Overtime (1.5x / 2x) + 8% Employer Pension + Private Healthcare + Training + Progression

Widnes, commutable from: Warrington, Runcorn, St Helens, Liverpool, Prescot, Frodsham and surrounding areas

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor with experience working on industrial pumps, gearboxes and process equipment, looking for a days-based role with greater responsibility?

This company operates within the chemical manufacturing industry and is looking to strengthen its engineering department with an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

In this role, you will oversee and support mechanical maintenance activities, carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators and other process equipment.

This role would suit a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor from a manufacturing or processing background who is confident working independently and supporting other engineers.

The Role:

• Mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Pumps, gearboxes, valves and agitators
• Supporting and coordinating maintenance engineers
• Monday to Friday, days-based
• Overtime, training and company benefits

The Person:

• Mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with industrial pumps, gearboxes and rotating equipment
• Previous supervisory experience or looking to step up
• Commutable to Widnes
