We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking building services contractor based in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from pre-contract through to completion, working across a varied portfolio within sectors including Education, Healthcare, Local Authority and Social Housing.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Job Description

As Project Manager you will lead and oversee all operational activities across your project portfolio. The PM will work closely with the directors to ensure the company meet their growth and sustainability goals. This strategic operational role will ultimately be to ensure safe and efficient project delivery, resource optimisation, customer satisfaction and commercial targets are met whilst working to the Company’s processes and culture.

 Person Specification / Essential Requirements: 

Proven experience in operations leadership within building services or construction.

Experience of managing projects in complex live environments – Education, Healthcare, Local Authority, Social Housing

Strong technical understanding

Experience managing decarbonisation and sustainability-focused projects.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Relevant qualifications in engineering / construction management

Proven track record of developing and implementing new processes to support operational and commercial betterment

Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
