MEICA Project Engineer – Water Industry

A leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major water, infrastructure, and engineering projects is looking for a MEICA Project Engineer to join its Midlands team on a long-term water framework.

Working across the project lifecycle from design through to commissioning, you will support the successful delivery of MEICA engineering works, coordinating with project, engineering, commissioning, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Duties for MEICA Project Engineer

• Support the delivery of MEICA engineering works across one or multiple projects
• Coordinate with design, engineering, commissioning, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with technical planning, programming, and monitoring of project activities
• Monitor project progress against programme, budget, and delivery requirements
• Compile, review, and support the implementation of RAMS and project documentation
• Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure project progress, requirements, and key milestones are understood
• Carry out site inspections and monitor progress against project requirements
• Support the delivery of works in accordance with client specifications, quality standards, and project procedures
• Produce progress reports and provide updates to the wider project team
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer, MEICA Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar project-based engineering role
• Experience working within the water, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, or a similar process-driven engineering environment
• HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent engineering qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
