MET Technician Vacancy In Luton Accident Repair Centre!

Our client, a reputable and well-established Accident Repair Centre in Luton, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits for the successful MET Technician:

• Up to £56,000 basic salary (£24 per hour)
• OTE exceeding £65,000 through performance-based bonuses
• Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 5:00pm) with some flexibility
• Overtime opportunities available
• Ongoing training and ATA accreditation support
• Stable employment with a prominent accident repair provider

Duties of the MET Technician:

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) work on assigned vehicles
• Dismantle and reassemble vehicles accurately and efficiently
• Conduct fault diagnostics and testing, identifying repair requirements
• Fit replacement parts complying with manufacturer standards
• Carry out inspections to ensure work quality and safety compliance
• Identify additional faults or safety-related issues during repair process
• Road test vehicles as necessary under safe and legal conditions
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard of quality and safety standards

Requirements of the MET Technician:

• Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship
• Good diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a busy workshop
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
• ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
