Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

• Luton area (within 1 hour travel radius)
• £45,000 per annum
• Company vehicle + full benefits package
• Permanent position

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading building services and facilities maintenance provider for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to work across a diverse commercial portfolio, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance within a well-established and supportive organisation.

The Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial sites. You will be working independently and as part of a wider engineering team to ensure all building services equipment is maintained safely and efficiently.

The role covers sites within approximately a 1-hour commute of the Luton area, offering variety, autonomy, and a structured workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
• Maintenance of emergency lighting systems
• Servicing AHUs, motors, and associated building services equipment
• General electrical maintenance across commercial environments
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards
• Completion of job sheets and reporting via mobile/tablet systems

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential)
• Strong background in electrical building services maintenance
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence required
