Mechanical Engineer / Plumber

£44,000–£47,000 | Mobile Role – West London

We’re hiring for a Mechanical Engineer / Plumber to join an established facilities management provider, covering a mobile contract across West London.

The Mechanical Engineer / Plumber will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and carrying out remedial works across mechanical and plumbing systems, including HIU equipment and associated plant.

Responsibilities for a Mechanical Engineer / Plumber

• Carrying out planned servicing and maintenance of mechanical and plumbing systems
• Completing remedial works and reactive repairs
• Servicing and maintaining Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
• Carrying out plumbing repairs and fault finding
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Completing maintenance records and relevant documentation

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent
• Experience carrying out mechanical and plumbing servicing and remedial works
• HIU servicing experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
