Mobile Plant Fitter (Concrete Mixers)

£48,000-£56,000 + Company Van + Specialist Training + Travel Allowances + Company Pension

Are you a Mobile Plant Fitter or Heavy Plant Engineer with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills, looking for a senior role within a well-established, family-run business offering specialist manufacturer training in the UK and overseas?

On offer is the opportunity to become a technical specialist across a diverse range of concrete equipment, combining hands-on diagnostics and repairs with the opportunity to support junior engineers and share your expertise.

This established business has over 56 years of experience supplying specialist concrete machinery to customers throughout the UK. With an extensive equipment range including concrete pumps, truck mixers, volumetric mixers, batching plants and silos, they offer varied work and long-term career opportunities.

In this role, you will work between the Bicester workshop and customer sites nationwide, carrying out servicing, breakdown repairs and complex fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. You will also support equipment installations, testing and commissioning, with overnight stays and occasional overseas travel required.

This role would suit an Plant Fitter or Heavy Plant Engineer looking to develop their technical knowledge through specialist training while taking on senior responsibilities within an established business.

The Role:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults across specialist concrete equipment.
• Carry out servicing, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs at the workshop and customer sites.
• Support equipment installations, testing and commissioning.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and liaise directly with customers.
• UK-wide travel, overnight stays and occasional overseas trips.

The Person:

• Experienced Mobile Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer or similar.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical fault-finding, including 12/24V systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
