Homes Made Simple Ltd is a growing specialist mortgage brokerage based near Newport, South Wales, and we’re looking for an ambitious Mortgage Sales Advisor / Administrator to join our team.

This isn’t simply an administration role.

We’re looking for someone who can manage mortgage cases, build strong relationships with clients and generate new mortgage business.

If you’re CeMAP qualified, confident speaking to clients and motivated by earning commission, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your mortgage career.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll have a varied role covering both mortgage processing and sales, including:

• Speaking with new and existing clients about their mortgage requirements
• Identifying opportunities and converting enquiries into mortgage business
• Advising clients on suitable mortgage solutions based on their circumstances
• Managing applications from initial submission through to mortgage offer and completion
• Liaising with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and clients
• Chasing applications and ensuring cases progress efficiently
• Building long-term relationships with clients and generating repeat business and referrals
• Following up leads and maximising every sales opportunity
• Providing an exceptional level of customer service
• Supporting the wider team in delivering a professional and efficient mortgage service

What you can earn

£24,000 starting basic salary + 10% commission on sales.

We want someone who is commercially minded and enjoys winning business. The commission structure gives you the opportunity to increase your earnings as you grow your sales.

Who we’re looking for

• You’ll ideally have:
• CeMAP qualification
• Previous mortgage industry experience
• Experience in mortgage administration, processing or advising
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A genuine interest in sales and business development
• The drive to follow up leads and convert opportunities
• The ability to work independently while being part of a close-knit team Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is ambitious, motivated and wants to build a successful career in mortgages.
