Job Description:

We are pleased to represent our client in recruiting a highly skilled MOT Technician for their busy dealership in Weymouth, Dorset.

Duties of the MOT Technician:

• Conduct MOT testing in strict compliance with DVSA regulations and standards
• Perform vehicle servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components
• Execute fast fit tyre fitting, operate and understand alignment equipment
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance, including wearing uniform as an MOT Technician
• Deliver excellent customer service, liaising effectively with clients
• Complete additional tasks as directed by management while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements of the MOT Technician:

• Valid MOT Licence with current certification
• Proven experience in mechanical repairs, fast fit work, tyre fitting, brakes, exhausts, suspension, and general servicing
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least six months (considering age restrictions and driving offences)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, following all safety procedures
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety
