Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced MOT Technician to join our established, family-run independent garage in Mold. This MOT Technician role offers a salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience, plus a bonus. You will join a supportive and friendly team that is recognised for excellent customer satisfaction, staff appreciation and a positive working environment.

As a MOT Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing complex faults across a wide range of vehicle systems
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
• Working on clutches, cambelts and associated mechanical systems
• Completing video vehicle health assessments to identify issues and potential additional work
• Managing time efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and customers regarding work progress
• Providing technical guidance and coaching to fellow team members
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work bay
• Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards, where required

To succeed as a MOT Technician, you will need:

• Proven experience within a vehicle technician or automotive repair role
• Experience using diagnostic equipment
• Experience working on clutches and cambelts
• An MOT testing licence is desirable but not essential
• Ideally, a Level 3 vehicle maintenance and repair qualification
• A full UK driving licence
• A professional approach and commitment to delivering excellent workmanship
