Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Renfrewshire
Salary: £48,000

NT Engineering & Manufacturing are proud to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Renfrewshire in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering department.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a stable, long-standing business with a strong reputation in its sector. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing availability of plant, machinery and equipment, working across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns and repairs, and delivering against a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.

If you're a time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, this is a role worth exploring.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep plant, machinery and equipment running reliably
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns
• Working as part of a wider engineering team, as well as independently when required
• Supporting weekend preventative maintenance tasks and covering holiday/absence within the department as needed

What we're looking for:

• Time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias
• Comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Background within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well both in a team and independently
• Willing to work a continuous 3-shift rotation, including nights

Shift Pattern:

• Night Shift: 10pm–6am, Sunday night to Thursday night
• Early Shift: 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday
• Back Shift: 2pm–10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm–7pm on Friday
• Average 39 hours 40 minutes per week
