Specialising in the food manufacturing sector, this client offers a diverse role within a state of art manufacturing facility for the right Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer.  

The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be working within a small team of multi-skilled engineers, you will ideally have experience of fast moving manufacturing environments with good electrical skills and sound mechanical knowledge.

• £54.5k Salary
• 3 week shift pattern - Earlies (07:00-15:00), Mids (15:00-23:00) and nights (23:00-07:00).

Person Requirements for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Time served Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Multi-skilled engineer but with good electrical and mechanical aptitude 
• Machinery experience with multi-head weighers, packaging machinery, conveyors and metal detectors

Job Requirements for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer:

The ideal Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will have a strong background in Food/FMCG engineering and be accustomed to fast paced environments.

• The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will work in partnership with the Maintenance manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required. 
• Working to the expected hygiene standards within food production.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
