Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

£42,000

A growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production across a busy automated site.

This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with a strong 50/50 electrical and mechanical background, ideally from a manufacturing environment with experience working on conveyors, CNC machinery, motors, sensors and PLC controlled equipment.

The Role

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site
• Fault finding on CNC machines and PLC controlled conveyors
• Working on motors, relays, sensors, belts, bearings and wiring
• Supporting machinery reliability and reducing downtime
• Encouraging and improving planned preventative maintenance activities
• Assisting with continuous improvement projects
• Maintaining engineering standards within the toolroom and maintenance stores
• Supporting stock control of engineering spares and consumables

Requirements

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience within manufacturing, production, glass, FMCG or industrial environments
• Comfortable working on PLC controlled machinery
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Proactive approach to maintenance and housekeeping
