Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £37,080 - £38,522 per annum + circa £1,200 annual on-call allowance
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy facilities maintenance team supporting a large and diverse estate.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a range of building services. You'll help ensure buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, with a focus on your core trade
- Support colleagues across multiple disciplines to maintain service continuity
- Use CAFM systems to manage and record maintenance activities
- Liaise with contractors and site stakeholders
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance requirements
- Participate in the on-call rota
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Recognised trade qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management or building services
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Experience working within a large commercial, educational, healthcare or public-sector environment
- Knowledge of CAFM systems and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Multi-skilled experience across additional trades
- Experience supervising contractors or supporting small projects
