Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer | Chancery Lane | £47,000 | Monday-Friday

Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a leading Building Services provider to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a high-profile commercial office building based in Chancery Lane.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering team, working on a modern commercial site where you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across both electrical and mechanical building services. The role is based on a single static site, offering a varied workload, technical exposure and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the building's mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and service delivery are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

• Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding

• Maintain electrical and mechanical building services plant

• Carry out maintenance on HVAC systems and associated equipment

• Ensure all plant operates efficiently and safely

• Issue and manage Permit to Work documentation

• Carry out minor installations and remedial works

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and building management

• Complete maintenance records and statutory logbooks

• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering

• Experience within commercial building maintenance

• Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical knowledge

• Strong fault-finding ability

• Good communication and client-facing skills

• Experience working within a commercial office environment

• 18th Edition, L8 or LVAP qualifications are advantageous but not essential
