This is a hands‑on, site-based opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance technician supporting a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation. The role focuses on minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across production assets.

Description
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues
- Work with production teams to prioritise work and maintain safe working practices
- Contribute to TPM activities, root cause analysis, and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with site safety standards
Profile
The successful candidate:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
- Safety-conscious, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
