• Vacancy: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
• Salary: Up To £55,000 plus bonus

• Full Onsite
• Shift Pattern Days: 42 hours per week. Rotational (Between 6am - 6pm Mon-Fri)
• On call – TBD (likely to be one in 3 or 4)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of the most successful manufacturing companies in the UK.

My client is now looking for an experienced engineer who is looking to make an instant impact on a site and contribute to the growth of the business through hard work, commitment and dedication.

Due to customer growth and demand, they are now opening their doors to new Engineers. The successful engineer will have the opportunity to work with market leading kit and also have opportunity to train as well as progress into more senior positions. They offer unbeatable training and are development incentives for their Engineers and a have good relationships with OEMs and local colleges where Engineers and technicians are sent for Mechanical, Electrical and Health & Safety Training.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• You’ll play a key part in keeping our clients operations running smoothly — maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. 
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair production and utility equipment
• Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise to enhance productivity
• Support new machinery installations Keep accurate maintenance records
• Champion safety and continuous improvement (BOPEX

About You:

• Experience in industrial maintenance (e.g. pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering)
• IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous
• Familiarity with safety protocols (LOTO, ATEX/DSEAR, etc.
