Job Description:
The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.
They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
- Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
- Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
- Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
- Generate work instructions
- Manage workflow to meet production requirements
- Prepare and authorise product test reports
- Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
- Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis
Required Skills & Experience:- Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
- Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
- Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
- Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
- Strong team player
The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am – Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm
