A long‑established specialist manufacturer of high‑value, bespoke vehicles is expanding and creating a brand‑new role for a driven New Business Sales Manager. This is an opportunity to join a respected, growing organisation and take full ownership of building a new business pipeline from the ground up.
The Opportunity
This is a field‑based, remote role for a true hunter — someone who thrives on generating their own leads, meeting customers face to face and closing complex, high‑value deals. You will report directly to senior leadership and have the autonomy to shape the entire new business function.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, research and proactively approach prospective customers
Build and manage a qualified pipeline with long, consultative sales cycles
Travel nationwide to meet customers, understand operational needs and present tailored solutions
Negotiate high‑value deals with senior decision‑makers
Maintain disciplined CRM records and provide accurate pipeline reporting
Share market insights to support product and pricing strategy

What You will Bring
Proven success generating new business and closing high‑value capital equipment or vehicle‑related sales
A proactive, self‑starting approach with strong commercial judgement
Confidence engaging technically minded buyers and senior stakeholders
Excellent CRM discipline and structured activity management
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
Desirable: experience in automotive, transport, haulage or specialist vehicles; existing industry contacts; formal sales training; experience in an owner‑led or small business environment.
