Nights Shift Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach and develop a team of managers and colleagues, creating a high-performance culture that delivers outstanding results.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, embedding best practice and improving operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of fleet resources, stock inventory and maintenance activity to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Manage operational resources effectively to respond to changing customer demand and fluctuating volumes.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements while managing recruitment, succession planning and headcount needs.
• Deliver against key operational KPIs, budget targets and service level agreements.

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience managing managers and large operational teams within a fast-paced, unionised environment.
• Strong background in multi-drop delivery, logistics, transport or final-mile operations.
• Experience delivering KPI performance, driving productivity improvements and controlling operational costs.
• A people-focused leader who can engage, motivate and develop teams at all levels.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to react quickly to changing customer and operational demands.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
• Experience managing change, driving continuous improvement and delivering results through others.
