Nights Transport Admin 

We are currently recruiting for a Nights Transport Admin to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation based in Stoke on Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Nights Transport Admin role:

• Supporting the night transport operation and ensuring smooth day-to-day administration.
  
  
• Communicating with drivers face-to-face and over the phone.
  
  
• Managing paperwork, PODs, driver hours, infringements, and compliance records.
  
  
• Investigating and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  
  
• Chasing outstanding paperwork and following up on actions when required.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate records and updating transport systems.
  
  
• Liaising with drivers, planners, managers, and customers to ensure excellent service levels.
  
  

What you need for this Nights Transport Admin role:

• Previous transport or logistics experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  
  
• A confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with drivers and colleagues at all levels.
  
  
• Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  
  
• Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  
  
• Proactive, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  
  
• Competent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and transport management systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  
  

 

Details of this Nights Transport Admin role:

Immediate Start Available
Shift Pattern: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Salary: £14.10PH
