Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of both HR and the day-to-day operations of a business?

Regional Recruitment are working with an established professional services firm in Derbyshire who are looking for an Operations & HR Manager to support their six offices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with employees, Partners and the wider management team.

Previous experience within a professional services or legal environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.

Essential:

• Previous experience in an HR and/or operational role
• Good generalist HR experience
• Experience advising managers on employee-related matters
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding
• Experience managing absence and attendance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Professional, approachable and proactive manner
• Strong attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience within the legal or professional services sector
• Experience working across multiple offices or sites
• Experience managing suppliers, contracts or facilities
• Experience supporting audits or accreditations

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day HR function across six offices.
• Advise Partners and managers on employee-related matters.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Oversee performance reviews and appraisals.
• Manage absence and attendance.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Keep HR policies and procedures up to date and in line with employment legislation.
• Support audits, accreditations and quality standards where required.
• Oversee suppliers, contracts and service agreements.
• Support facilities management, office maintenance, health and safety and business continuity.
• Develop and improve operational processes and procedures.
• Work closely with Partners and the Practice Management team on projects and initiatives.
• Help ensure consistency and efficiency across all six offices.

About You:

You'll be someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role and is confident managing your own workload. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, advising managers and dealing with a range of HR and operational responsibilities.
