Operations CoordinatorLocation: Office Based | Fridays Working from home
Pay Rate: £35,000 - 40,000 DOE
Contract Type: Permanent
This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the day-to-day coordination of live projects, documentation, systems, and communication across multiple departments. The successful Operations Coordinator will act as a central point of support between project teams, designers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring information is organised, accurate, and up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
This role would suit someone highly organised who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, managing documentation, supporting project delivery, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities as a Operations Coordinator:- Coordinate and manage project documentation, drawings, reports, and technical information
- Maintain project trackers, registers, and workflow systems
- Ensure teams are working from the latest approved project information and revisions
- Upload, distribute, and archive documentation within internal systems and cloud-based platforms
- Support project managers and design teams with day-to-day operational coordination
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication across projects
- Assist with compiling project handover packs, O&M manuals, and final project documentation
- Generate reports and provide updates on project progress, outstanding actions, and workflow status
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is compliant with company and project processes
- Support continuous improvement of operational and administrative processes
Required Skills & Experience for the successful Operations Coordinator:- Previous experience within an Operations Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Document Controller, or similar position
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience managing documentation and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Comfortable working within fast-paced project or operational environments
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based industries would be advantageous
