Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Passive Fire Protection Central London | Up to £80,000 + Package
 
An established and growing specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Central London team.
 
Working across a diverse portfolio of Passive Fire Protection projects, you'll take commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account, playing a key role in protecting profitability, managing risk and supporting the successful delivery of projects. The Role

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple Passive Fire Protection projects from award through to final account.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and account reconciliation.
• Identify, price and agree variations.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and forecasting.
• Work closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performance.
• Manage contractual risk and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Produce accurate commercial reporting for senior management.

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Experience within Passive Fire Protection, Fire Doors, Specialist Interiors or a related subcontracting environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple projects within a busy, fast-paced environment.
