🎯 About the role
This newly created position has been designed to elevate the confidence, capability and performance of our Mortgage Advisors.
You’ll play a key role in supporting new recruits through onboarding and induction, while coaching and developing experienced Advisors to achieve their next level of performance.
You’ll ensure our Training & Competence (T&C) framework is delivered consistently and to the highest standard, whilst sharing best practice and helping us continually improve our Financial Services operation.
Key responsibilities
Deliver onboarding and induction support for new Mortgage Advisors
Coach and develop existing Advisors to improve performance, productivity and protection penetration
Conduct observations, KPI reviews and development reviews
Provide CPD support within the T&C framework
Support branch integration and help new recruits settle successfully into their roles
Share best practice across the business
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes
Provide performance insight, reporting and recommendations
Work closely with Area Mortgage Managers, the Financial Services Director, Training Manager and Home in One Compliance
👤 About you
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely motivated by developing people and driving performance.
You’ll ideally have:
CeMAP qualification or equivalent
Experience in coaching, onboarding or performance management
Financial Services experience, ideally within mortgages
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Confidence working within a T&C framework
Strong organisation and time-management skills
A positive, proactive approach and strong work ethic
The ability to work effectively under pressure
A full driving licence
You’ll need to be comfortable travelling regularly across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, with occasional evening and weekend work. The role is primarily office-based with travel across a wide geographical area, alongside occasional home working.
