Job Description:

DNA Recruitment is proud to represent, on an exclusive agency basis, a well-established, family-owned community pharmacy that has been serving the Bristol area for many years and holds a strong local reputation.

The owner is now looking to take a step back from the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and is seeking a capable and personable pharmacist to lead the pharmacy alongside a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

Opening hours: 9am - 6pm

Undisturbed lunch break - choice of 30 minutes or a full 1 hour

Occasional Saturday mornings (9am - 1pm) would be helpful but are not essential

About the Pharmacy

Dispensing just over 8,000 items per month, with clear potential for growth

Predominantly walk-in patients

Around 100 blister packs, supported by a dedicated team

Also delivers

No care homes

Fully paperless pharmacy with an electronic register

The Team

You will be supported by a strong and well-structured team:

Store Manager / Supervisor - supports with paperwork, rotas, and operational tasks, allowing the pharmacist to focus on delivering excellent patient care

ACT - 4 days per week

1 Full-Time Dispenser

1 Part-Time Dispenser

2 Part-Time Counter Assistants

The Ideal Candidate

The owner is looking for a pharmacist with:

A great personality and natural flair

Commitment to a long-term, stable, permanent role

A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for upskilling and developing the team

Motivation to grow NHS and private services

Ideally looking for a few years of experience, although very confident newly qualified candidates will be considered
