Job Description:
A growing civil engineering company is seeking an experienced and organised Plant & Logistics Co-Ordinator to join its team based in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing plant movements, coordinating logistics, and ensuring operational requirements are delivered efficiently across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the allocation and movement of plant, vehicles, and equipment to sites
- Scheduling deliveries, collections, and transport requirements
- Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors daily
- Monitoring plant availability, utilisation, and off-hire requirements
- Maintaining accurate records for plant, transport, and compliance documentation
- Assisting with fuel usage, servicing schedules, and breakdown coordination
- Ensuring all logistics activities are carried out safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in plant coordination, logistics, or transport planning
- Experience within civils, construction, or utilities preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of plant hire processes and transport regulations advantageous
